Youth Transition Program (YTP)

Youth Transition Program is a unique vocational program offered by our school district in partnership with the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Service and the University of Oregon. YTP assists students in addressing barriers and challenges to employment so they successfully transition from high school to post-secondary education or the workforce.

YTP provides services to youth ages 16 to 21 years of age who are on a IEP or  504. All students receive a comprehensive array of services to address a broad set of transition needs. Such as

  • Job Exploration Counseling
  • Resume building
  • Mock interviewing
  • Building soft skills
  • Internships and job shadows
  • Counseling on post secondary education and transition Services
  • Independent living/social skills
  • Self-advocacy skills
  • Work-based learning experience
  • Work Place Readiness training
