Fourteen students in Steve Hodges’ CCHS Marketing and Advertising class took on a big challenge and came out on top. They entered the Fantasy Football Classroom Challenge presented by Sports Marketing Career Company and completed six challenges, competing with 29 other high schools across the nation. The 12-week project was based on Digital Marketing and Social Media Marketing for their NFL franchise that they created. They completed challenges such as community relations, game day experience, marketing, football team promotion, advertising, and digital marketing. A team of sports marketing specialists reviewed and scored the marketing students’ work. The CCHS team tied for first place in the Digital Marketing Challenge with a perfect score and earned ninth place overall for their Bandits NFL team marketing plan. Way to go, marketing students!
