“I am the new Youth Transition Specialist at Crook County High School. The Youth Transition Program assists students, ages 16 to 21 years old, with disabilities in addressing barriers and challenges to employment. The goal of the program is to successfully transition students from high school, to a post-high school opportunity, either college or job or career path of their choice. My job is to develop jobs in the community and to support students on the job if needed. In my career path, I have worked with children and families with disabilities or economic disadvantage. I love the work I do!
I am a mom of 3 beautiful daughters and 3 step-sons and referred to as the Brady Bunch. I am a grandma to 7 grandkids and love spending time with them. Since June of 2015, I graduated college, remodeled my house, had a gastric bypass, (losing 128 pounds) and started a business! I love crafts, painting, and photography. I am very excited to be a part of the school district and work with the students who every day put a smile on my face!”
