Foster Youth (Current and Former) College financial aid:
This webinar provides information for current and former foster youth, Independent Living Providers (ILP), foster parents, and adoptive parents. We’ll cover OSAC’s financial aid resources, programs, and deadlines including the Chafee Education and Training Grant, Oregon Promise, Oregon Opportunity Grant, and OSAC Scholarship Application.
Oregon Opportunity Grant (OOG):
The Oregon Opportunity Grant is Oregon largest source of need-based grant funding for college students. It is administered through Office of Student Access and Completion (OSAC).
Concurrent enrollment: Dual Partnership Program:
The DPP program is a partnership program between a university and a community college. Students enroll at each college and have the benefits of advising, scholarships and more from each school. Students can choose which campus they live on. Most Oregon Universities have some form of this program. Students are also able to take advantage of the Oregon Promise at their community college to save money whole also attending a university
