Student directors will make their directorial debut with a variety of show offerings.
Crook County High School drama students present Student Directed One Acts at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12-14 in the CCHS auditorium, 1100 SE Lynn Blvd.
CCHS student directors Dakota Carpenter, Danilea Lindburg, Uber Gonzalez and Katie Jones will direct four one-act plays: “21 Chump Street: The Musical” by Lin-Manuel Miranda, “Lockdown” by Douglas Craven, “The Incredible Bulk at Bikini Beach” by Tim Kelly, and “4 A.M.” by Jonathan Dorf.
The four shows range from the lighthearted to a high school story that highlights the hard-hitting realization that not everything is permanent. There’s even a rap musical and some acting by three CCHS teachers.
Seating is limited to 75 for this black box production. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
