After 30 years in the education system, Rosie is trading in her volleyball shoes for hiking shoes. Rosie teaches students about fitness and trains them in all aspects of fitness and sport. Rosie said, “I love the kids and will miss them terribly. The Crook County kids are wonderful!”

After retiring, Rosie and her husband, Jerry, of 47 years, are planning on some camping trips and traveling across the United States hitting every national park and hiking trails. In addition to seeing the sites, she plans on watching her granddaughter, Jessie, play volleyball at Boise State. She also plans on visiting and playing with her other grandkids in Portland and finding time to see her grandson working in Alaska.

Congratulations Rosie!
