Crook County High School scored a touchdown when it came to purchasing a new scoreboard thanks to several organizations. The old one was over 20 years old and it was growing increasingly more difficult to find replacement bulbs. The new board is bigger, has LED display, and can be used for both football and track timing, which doubles the functionality.
Purchasing the scoreboard and the stadium sound system was a community effort involving Prineville Data Center, Les Schwab Tire Centers, SepticPros, Prineville Disposal, Crook County School District, Garthwaite Electric, and Sun Mountain Fun Center.
It was quite an accomplishment to fund and purchase something for the athletes of this district that will stand for the next 20+ years.
